Fairfield Real Estate Market Update

  2nd Quarter 2011

Welcome to the Greater Fairfield Board of REALTORS

It's 2011 and we have survived another dynamic year in real estate!  Again this year, I am honored to serve as your Greater Fairfield Board of REALTORS President.

This year will be about engagement in the community and giving back. As the Greater Fairfield Board of  REALTORS , we have been part of the Fairfield fabric for over 50 years and have seen what active involvement can accomplish.

Our focus will continue to be on our clients and the vibrant community of Fairfield. We have many initiatives that will give us the opportunity to build relationships and make a difference. Our Good Neighbor Award will continue this year, as well as direct involvement with town committees. We will be giving back to our REALTOR community through the Gates Scholarship fund raising, which offers scholarships to college-bound children of REALTORS.

As consumers and clients become even more informed, we have to answer the call of learning about the many industries that touch real estate. We continue to do this through our extensive training and our board meetings which cover the latest trends. We also strongly encourage affiliate membership to our board for any company or individual seeking a networking opportunity.

I invite all of you to participate in the board this year through committees and projects. The reward is immense and greatly appreciated.

I look forward to leading you in 2011!

Regards,

Melissa Riley
2011 GFBOR President
