Six high school graduates were recently awarded scholarships from the Greater Fairfield Board of REALTORS Scholarship program. The program is funded by the Greater Fairfield Board of REALTORS annual golf tournament in September as well as from donations from members of the Board. The Connecticut Association of REALTORS recently changed their Good Neighbor Award to the Harry W. Wenz Good Neighbor Award. Chris Hussey is congratulating Harry “Bud” Wenz while Bev Wenz, Bud’s wife looks on. Bud is a Past President of the GFBOR and past EVP of CAR. Which member does this in his spare time? Which member does this in his spare time? This prestigious award is given annually to one REALTOR® who displays commitment, leadership and great dedication to the REALTOR® Association at the State, National and Local levels. He is currently CAR’s President-Elect and a member of the Finance Committee, Issues Advocacy Committee, and RPAC Trustees in addition to sitting on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
